Subject: [Leica] Barcelona Packing...

Philippe,

Thanks for the info and the possible adapter. ;) Yes the D4 is on the heavy
side, but I find my D700 a tad on the noisy (sound) side. The M8 is
definitely coming, and most likely the D4 with the 24-70 lens.

Cheers,
Gene

You still have time to buy a fuji ;-)

Bring the M8 in any case - there must be a stack at the Zurich, with/
out fuji intruders I suppose ;-)

I don't know your style of photography well enough but I've been to
Barca a few times now - wide lenses are ok, not too wide though except
for fun end even though some "streets" are incredibly narrow.
A couple of years ago while there with Lluis I bought a 7-14 (read
14-28 in FF terms) and a 50-200 (100-400) as I was frustrated by my
limited range.
Now that I've covered the sights, the stakes are different.
The fixed lens fuji 100 would do nicely I presume.
So this year I'll be travelling "light" - D700 18-35 and 24-120 plus
the unavaoidable tiny fuji x10.

D4 seems heavy artillery to me, and yet only the results matter as we
all know.

See you soon

I'll try and think of taking an adaptor plug for you, just in case.

Amiti?s
Philippe, + Alice by proxy - landing on the 20ieth and leaving on the
23rd
