I take your point Jeffery.

Though you're referring to people you know by name in that anecdote.

In the case of these LUG subject postings or image titles
we don't know the names of these subjects in these street photographs.
- which may speak more to the point of why we're photographing strangers - 
men or women?

Yet we do.

And as men we appreciate the beauty of women.
And as sexual beings we appreciate the beauty of healthy young people - 
whether men or women.
Are we do deny this appreciation when respectfully presented in word or 
image?
That's just silly and denying reality.

I feel no shame in appreciating beauty in nature;
whether a woman, a man, a flower, a bird, a landscape, or any other flora or 
fauna on earth.
