More so. Absolutely. We all have the right to talk about the "new [digital] Leicas." Those who have the most "right" to talk about the Leicas (or any other gear) IMO are those who are actually experiencing and using the gear. I read with great interest what the users have to say about the Leica M, MM, M9, ME (as well as the Nikon 800e and Fuji Xpro1 and a few medium format offerings). I look at every image offered on this and many other lists. I feel envy and desire for the gear. Yet I cannot offer any experiential knowledge of the gear. I can offer questions and opinions about the photographs I see; though very little about the gear I've not handled or used.
