Hi Julian,

Like you, my scanner has been passed on to others, and my darkroom equipment 
hasn't been unpacked from the last move, many years ago.  I occasionally 
shoot film, and, even in a small city, have found a local lab that will do 
high-resolution scans to CD for me, at a reasonable price.  You might look 
through the Yellow Pages and try a few phone calls.

I have been disappointed with Walgreen's work.  For years, Wal-Mart provided 
high resolution scans to CD, but those in our area have quit scanning film 
because the market dried up.
