Chuck,

I repeated the book shelf shot today, using a tripod, timed shutter release,
and several apertures. I liked this f/11 shot the best. It is not perfect,
but tells me that this lens would probably work for me as a walk-around
lens, and possibly for informal portraits. I plan to explore its use to see
what it can do for me.

Thanks for your suggestions.
