A lot of people mystified at the naming decisions Tina. Some further
confusion because people made up extra ones too.
Just think Monochrom. MM is just shorthand in the internet discussions I
don't think that Leica Camera call it that.
M10 is what most of us thought it would be but Leica Camera never used that.
M typ 240 is their internal product nomenclature. Other models have their
own number but they never intended to use those externally. Did you know
what a typ 220 is? That is the M-E!
People just adopted M 240 to try to make it clearer which they meant.

Repeat after me ;-) Monochrom, M, M-E, Muddled,
I don't think that the results from them will be muddled though.
