I wouldn't refer to this as a photo essay.
It seems to me a mildly interesting news report on mildly interesting art 
project;
made mildly more interesting because "guns and gun violence" is front and 
center in the main stream media. Kyle's book is also receiving renewed 
interest with new interviews, etc.
