Subject: [Leica] (Now) Nikon 24-120

I have a lot more opportunities to shoot trains, since my office is
only a few miles away from the Alaska Railroad yards here in
Anchorage, Alaska.

But I like boats a lot too Jim! I just haven't shot any with my
24-120 lens yet.

If the 24-120 on a Nikon DSLR can produce images as good as those I
got with my Pentax 67, I'll be a very happy man.

Here's one from a few years ago. Pentax 67, 105mm f2.4 lens on Ilford
FP4. There's still something about B&F film.... :-)

View large....and I wish you could see the 16x20 print.

Might be time for me to take a little day trip to Seward and get some
new boat images....with the D800e this time. :-)
