A lossless compressed D800E shot is typically ~42MB (can be larger or 
smaller) compared to 36.4MB for an uncompressed M9, so not much in it.

Genuinely curious why a D3X, better built body but otherwise a 4 year old 
sensor which is not noted for high ASA exposure and still costs 
significantly more used than a D800E is new.......
