When tulips are blooming, I like to sit out there and watch them in the morning; you can actually see them glide like animals. I think that's why he shot them because they are such sensual things. My favorites are the delicate pastels. Most of my flowers I find in the wild, but these tulips were bulbs gifted to me by a photographer friend who has fallen ill.
