Very true Tina. When they realised moire can be accepted (and removed via
software) in exchange for higher resolution. Guess you already know the
difference between the Nikon D800 and D800E.

For some Leica lovers, we also pine for better LCDs screens, higher ISO
capture etc.

So sometime soon, we can dismiss the saying "Never the twain shall meet" ?

In reality, the M is not much more expensive than the D4. Hopefully then,
Mark is right. A new resurgence for Leica. Then again, I suspect many
Leicaphiles prefer to keep their beloved Leica exclusive, meaning astronomic
prices shall remain. And the real pros shall continue to be users of Nikons
and Canons. Except you and the Magnum set.

Always enjoyed your total dedication to the Leica system, the foremost
proponent of the Monochrom on LUG.
