Am I still the only one astonished at Phil's report that all 10 M9 cameras
in his circle have all needed repair several times??
I cannot believe that is typical nor know of any other report of that level
of failures (actually a 200 or 300% failure rate) to that effect anywhere
in my years of Leica involvement (nor about any other brand either for that
matter).
I never suggested that the M9 is the best tool for professional
photojournalists. It has no video for a first consideration.
My comments were only on that reported failure rate.
