Subject: [Leica] Fuji X 100 versus Leica M9

I still use it. Works great on my D700.
I think I'll use it tomorrow!
The 105 f2.5

When I first got my white backdrop and studio strobe kit it was the only
lens I used for a few years. Outdoors (on location) too often with a vivitar
then TTL on camera flash.
And with either Panatomic X rated at ASA 50 or Kodachrome 64.
So many iconic images have been made with this lens it really does have a
bit of a distinctive "look" and bunch bokeh might be part of it.
But it took many many decades of shooting before the word was coined.
And people realized it was a consideration worth considering.
I'm glad that small group of Japanese photographers using Leica R glass
expanded our conceptions of how we make images. Though it seems to be the
center not edge of any photographic lens discussion.
