Hi Phil,
Come on over. There is Leica stacking with Tom and the usual bunch of
reprobates every Friday morning about 9 am at the Zen Cafe on Yew Street in
Vancouver BC.
When I am in town I always make it a point to attend. And as Ted says there
are lots of other gatherings to toast photography and things Leica.
Cheers
Howard
PS: and "bonne chance" with the grad application too.

I'm moving up to Vancouver, Washington next week and should be there at
least until I get accepted into grad school (keep your fingers crossed
for me!)
Anyway, since I've been a part of this group since 2004, I've had the
pleasure of meeting a few LUG members around the country, mostly up in
the mid-Atlantic and New England (and a few down in Louisiana of
course!) I'd love to see if we can get either a more formal or lesser
so get together organized of the Pacific NW LUG folks (and anyone else
who wants to come, of course.) I can't wait to meet you all whom I've
been talking with and asking advice of for the better part of a decade.
Tom and Tuulikki managed to get an M2 Rapidwinder to me while I was on
deployment in Iraq and I have never picked up a Leica without thinking
about the thanks they deserve. I have wanted to thank them in person
for years and soon I'll have the ability to do so.
I digress, like I often do in long-winded form.

If there is already a regular Pacific NW meeting set, then I'll be
there and if not, I'm hoping to have the opportunity to meet you all in
person as soon as I can.

Sincerest regards to all!
Phil Forrest
