The internet has certainly confused the art or fine art issue. When what it
means is determined by lists of camera traders who design software during
the week who do not have the slightest interest in the art world but only a
scathing suspicion of it.
And that fact that certain machine printers which makes inkjet or Digital
C-prints have a category which is "fine art prints" which cost more and when
they make one for you than you think you have a fine art print.
You don't.
A fine art print is not in the untouched by human hands or eyes category.
Those are machine prints. Walgreens makes them. They cost a few buck.
But involve a give and take between the photographer and the printer.
But in 99% of the time are just done by the photographer.
