Subject: [Leica] D800E pixel-peepers

Well its a lot cheaper than a Digital M that's for sure.
Leicas often didn't cost that much if at all less than a Canon F1 or Nikon
F.
They were appearing to be lower tech and so it seemed like they were paying
a lot of money for archaic technology.
The glass was certainly higher though though tiny and no auto aperture.
So Leica always "felt" way expensive to the average buyer.
And represented an expenses they could not afford.
The money they had was going to go to their next Canon or Nikon lens or
body. Not to starting a whole new system whose advantages they didn't
comprehend and appreciate.
Leica was always an "ideal" which even serious shooters felt they could not
afford.
