Not to worry Dr. Ted - EVF w/focus peaking
is just another way to frame the world and CLICK.
NO MATTER if IT IS:
ground glass with upside down image under a black cloth
M or other range finder / view finder
a mirror tossing the image backwards on a ground glass ala Hasselblad
a mirror tossing the image backwards on a ground glass through a "twin lens"
reflex
looking through prisms and mirrors through an SLR
looking through an auxiliary viewfinder or even a wire sports finder frame
it remains focus, aperture, shutter, frame CLICK.
(or if a time exposure C L I C K)
Now the video thing - THAT'S A WHOLE NOTHER THING ENTIRELY
