Thanks Jim. I am very happy with the 100mm macro for Pentax and have not 
found bokeh objectionable. In this photo I suppose it is caused by the very 
brightly lit leaves in the background. I have not systematically examined 
bokeh at varying apertures, I must admit that I don't do this sort of 
testing--I just take pictures ;-)
