Tina, it's interesting that you're finding the B&W less forgiving of
focusing errors.

I'm half thinking of selling my virtually new 50 Summilux.  The only
time I can get it perfectly focused is at infinity.  I've never found
with the types of landscapes I shoot that B&W can handle out of focus
areas the way color can.  The color is still there even if softer.
With B&W, it just becomes a void.

I am giving a talk at the end of the month and may leverage off this
concept to look at the differences in human perception relating to B&W
v. color.  It's always fascinated me.
