yes, what Philippe said...so many, includes even a few 
Americans....Hincapie, Hampsten, LeMond, Armstrong, and a few cyclists who 
have died racing in the Tour de France...Casartelli, Simpson....

a thrilling spectacular event, that demands so much it's almost beyond 
belief....


and I, an American, who has followed it and has been thrilled by it for 50 
years,
