Nor does it mean that we should "not" admire "his work."
His work qualifies as edgy and gritty
and almost by definition - controversial by some critical standards
which we may or may not agree with.

Personally - I find the work compelling, touching and bringing up emotions
which I have experienced - I get what he's (visually) saying.
