No, it was Jeffery Smith http://400tx.com/ who had an amazing number of 50s.

John C went through a pile of 50s before settling on a pre-ASPH
Summilux, mainly, I think, because he needed something low-flare that
focused to 0.7m and didn't like the feel in the focus throw of the
floating element starting to move in the 50 Summilux ASPH (I don't
like this either).
