Subject: [Leica] The world is awash with M9.......

Nothing cheap about it that I can see.  Seems to be built every bit as 
robust as any other M lens I have.  About the only thing I don't like about 
it is the very narrow mounting ring, which makes it a bit hard to turn to 
full lock, as it is also right up against the body of the camera.

The 28mm Elmarit ASPH is challenged in the corners because it is designed to 
be a cheap (orig $1,600) compact lens, no?
