its smaller than my R8DMR, and also smaller than both the Canon 1D series 
and Nikon D3 camera bodies, also lighter than all of them.  Not bad for a mf 
camera.  Spent 1+ hour with one at Leica seminar 2 years ago.

I saw and held an S2 in 2010 when I attended a workshop on using the M9.? 
It's a huge beast and (in my humble opinion) is not really useful as 
anything but a studio camera.? Although I'm sure there are those who would 
like to argue with this opinion.
