Subject: [Leica] IMG: Scanning With an Epson 2450

The tones are pleasing, but there is some pixelation on the boy's
face--perhaps over-enthusiastic sharpening?

As it happens, I am scanning some MF negatives on my Epson V700 as I write
this. I always turn off all sharpening in the scanning software and set the
exposure for low contrast and maximum detail. Any punching up of contrast
and sharpening happens in Photoshop and Lightroom afterwards.

Cheers,
Nathan
