Herbert. I have noticed that in my experimenting with LR4. It is very
sluggish to update the display when you move those sliders. Makes it
difficult to do subtle changes. I would think this is due to it being a
Beta. I am using Windows 7 on an I5 laptop 6GB RAM.

And I also note the LR3 Exposure difference when compared to LR4. I believe
Adobe addressed this in their LR4 videos.

I'm running LR4 on an iMac whose OS is Snow Leopard. While most
sliders work fine, the four critical ones: shadows, hilights, etc.
are so sticky that they are almost useless if the exercise is to look
at the picture or the histogram and watch what they do.

Is this the behavior of the first release, or is something funny
going on in my machine? I've checked the amount of free memory in
Activity Monitor, and it is certainly adequate: mucho gigabytes.
