Last time I had two monitors the same (21" Sony Trinitrons) I never got them
matching. I have had an Apple 30" with an Apple 23" and now a 24" and they
are close but not the same. It does not matter as I go by the 30" and keep
tools/palettes etc on the 24"

Not trying to put words in your post but it does sound like if two monitors
are happy with their own software the odds of them looking alike, and they
are right next to each other seems slim to Nil.
And I can see that driving this guy crazy as the pic looks good on one but
not the other.
So its like the guy with two wrist watches again.
Would be best to have them both not on the same wrist. But one on each
wrist. And long sleeves covering.
