The kit that went to Ann's family xmas party last evening
(M8, 28 Summicron Asph on camera, 50 Summilux Asph in Leica pouch, SF24D
with Nikon off camera cord in zippered case + bag, miscellaneous wallet,
notebook, pens, coin purse, etc.) weighs in at 6 lb 13 oz.

Slipping in the iPad (in a ZooGue case - with two styluses attached - for
the kids) - added another 2 lbs 7 oz. - for a total of 9 lb 4 oz

the same kit went to a meeting on Friday - where i presented ideas and took
meeting notes on the ipad, and did preliminary, reference, product photos.
