Dennis,

Thanks for the advice.  I downloaded Vuescan (trial) and it works with the 
V700 on my iMac.   However, it doesn't give anywhere near the versatility or 
capabilities that my old PowerMac had with the V700 using EpsonScan.  I 
think I'm going to have to keep using the old Mac for scanning.
