Leopard in Tanzania: this was my maximum magnification: 300mm lens, 2x
converter and sensor magnification and 16 mp. I found the 2x a little soft
and had to stop down a bit, and the D7000 sensor is not quite as smooth as
the D3s, but nothing beats getting in there.
Changing to this set up meant risking dust: and my sensor did suffer badly
on another occasion. One thing I think I can state: NIKON's dust removal
DOES NOT REALLY DO ANYTHING. If you want a clean sensor the Olympus is
street's ahead.
