Snap Artz Pro 3 from Alien Skin Software and some cloning tools for
Photoshop.

I'm trying to move away from Snap Artz but as a non-painter it helps me get
a feel for how to do things. Then I used some of the tools from a training
program in Lydia.com on natural media in Photoshop.

I have Painter but its just incredibly, terribly, nastily slow on my very
very fast Mac Pro so that for an image with real dimensions it's just not
useful. I don't have the most recent version but nothing I have read
suggests that it's much better.

If anyone does have experience I'd enjoy hearing about it.

Thanks for asking!

Adam
