The most southern tip of this island. Which is where the Ferry goes to Staten Island and a few others I guess. Like the Statue of Liberty. Still haven't been there. I walked by Wall street for the first time ever. Used to be a wall. Now its a street. Took a picture of the sign. Around 10pm last night. No sign of any crowds. I got looked over by a few cops. But it was oddly quiet. Like a deserted shopping mall. Build in 1650 by the Dutch. All gleaming brand new buildings I wanted my 2 dollars back. I got great night shots of the South Street what ever they call it. Mall. The ships are nice though. Tall riggers. It told the lady working at Uno what the real Uno was like in the 60's. You either got served your pizza by a 90 year old lady or her 9 year old great grand daughter. Till they built the Du?. Then nobody went to the uno any more. Cept me. That was the 60's in Chicago. And Fulton street Chicago gives Fulton street NY a run for its money. -- Mark R. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/ > From: Bharani Padmanabhan <scleroplex at gmail.com> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Mon, 19 Sep 2011 16:51:04 -0400 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: [Leica] waiting for NYC luggers..... > > ..... to post pictures of the Wall Street Indignados > > http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/cifamerica/2011/sep/19/occupy-wall-str > eet-financial-system > > :-) > bharani > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
