Good for you that you can do that, and no, I won't argue that you should switch to raw. If it works for you, it works for you. I use raw for a number of reasons, and for myself only, JPG do not offer advantages, but for others, their decisions may be different. It's not wrong, it's different. Remember, not everyone in the LUG is out to convert everyone else to their One True Opinion :-) The original question is about DNG, which is raw, which is why I said what I said.
