Hi Sonny,

I mean't no disrespect for Petunia.  I was curious how she and Henri got 
along.

I agree with your premise.  The only cat we ever owned, a long-haired black, 
came to us as a small kitten, around Thanksgiving one year, and, try as I 
could, I could not locate his owner, so he owned us for 18 years.  He 
developed macular degeneration in later life, which our Auburn-trained vet 
had heard about, but never seen.  He managed to get around pretty well, but, 
toward the end of his days, when he shared the house and yard with a 
relative's blind Yorkie for a week, watching the two of them interact was a 
preview of old age for all of us.
