Hi Howard,
Lovely image and light. I prefer the color; the blues and dark reds are just
lovely IMO.
Very nicely composed and executed,
Bob

Subject: [Leica] Silhouette Hummers

Hi Luggers,
I have been distracted from my humming bird stalking by the arrival of two
sets
of children with significant others and our only grandchild (so far).
And the hummers haven't been coming when the light is best but arriving
later in
the evening in the gloaming which makes lighting really problematic.
Still, here are two takes on hummingbirds in the twilight:

This is with the GH2, hand held, with the 100 - 300 panasonic at 300mm f7.1,
1/4000, and ISO 5000.

The light was so nearly monochromatic that I transformed the picture into
Black
and White here:

I wonder which you prefer?

C&C always welcome
Howard (still in hummer land)
