Hi all, 

i do want to say a big thank you to all who have responded, 

it seems that perhaps this is a 'marmite' lens either you like it and see 
,or rather live with its short comings or you dis like it ....

Having got the offer of one & leica view finder for just over ?1K ...i think 
on balance i'm going to go for it ....
