Yet another wacky gizmo to use R lenses on a DIgi-SLR with no aperture automation? More rumors of the impending announcement of the AF, Digi, R10? ( Yes, tongue in cheek.) As far as I see, the R lenses are dropping in price like a lead balloon ( or Hasselblad). There must be a dozen 180 F3.4 lenses for sale at any one time. 50 Summicrons are more common yet, and in general, the 28-135 range is well represented.. OTOH, the M8 made the WA M lenses rise in price, and the M9 took care of all the other M lenses prices. ( that and the absolutely amazing price increases of the past few years....) M lenses have never been scarce, just more or less expensive. After 50+ years of production out there, scarcity is not exactly a problem. Frank Filippone Red735i at earthlink.net Are Leica R lenses getting scarce too? I know the M9 is driving up M lenses, and a bit on LTM lenses, and making them scarce. But I don't know of a similar phenomena driving down R lens availability or R lens price. Did I miss something? Vick
