He gets 300 bales and we get 300. Our's we sell out of the field at $3 a bale or we store it in the barn and sell it in the winter when nobody has any hay for $5 a bale. We use a few bales in the garden for mulch and some in the chicken house. Someday we will have cattle. It seems like a lot of work but Tom says for the farm to qualify as a farm tax-wise we have to continue to bale hay!
