 I haven't read all the answers but our experience is that she should choose 
the ones with a connection that allows to rescue the HD content if the 
computer fails. This happened to Alice's (under guarantee and was replaced 
for free but the contents were lost) and the new one (we added a couple of 
bucks to get one in thePro line + extented memory and larger HD) does have 
this connection.
