But >I was surprised at how noticeable the grain is. Robert -- Ah, okay. The original image is very grainy -- I was thinking to myself, man, I love the Tri-X look. The film was developed by a small mom & pop photo place in Manhattan so I don't know what developer was used. Obviously, this is just a down-sized version of the image I had in Photoshop. From a purely technology standpoint, I can't explain why the grain remained as prominent in the small jpg other then the little bit of output sharpening that was applied. .
