Great photo!  There was one on our garden fence yesterday.  My husband
insisted it was a July fly, but it looked exactly like your photo, red eyes
and all!  We can hear the cicadas way in the distance somewhere like a hum.
 Again, Tom thinks it is machinery drilling somewhere.  I know it is
cicadas!
