Precisely the point Ken and Ted.
The photographer chooses his equipment to fit his or her vision of the end 
We may tend to imagine that "street photography" can only be done with the 
used by the those we've come to know and respect as "street photographers."

Yet others have done remarkable "street" work with other gear.
