Ted- Cruising is a good way to spend your  time on this earth. We have taken 
about 10 trips. It is better than flying or driving. It is relaxing. You get 
to meet interesting people, get to see the varying weather, relax your 
brain, and not have to deal with the bs on the TV. We are signed up for a 28 
day cruise from San Pedro Calif to San Pedro Calif visiting  Hawaii , Tahiti 
and American Samoa. No airports, no driving- and relaxing on the high seas. 
If you can get a free trip by lecturing on photography- so much the better!! 
 I'd go for it. We have enjoyed some great lectures by excellent speakers!!
