Kathy and I had a wonderful time in January on a Western Caribbean cruise
on Norwegian. We had a balcony room, and I am convinced the trip in the
winter to warmer climes helped speed my recovery much better than air
flights and all the attendant transfers. We visited what we wanted to, at
the pace we wanted to.

My daughter and a friend were involved with teaching wine classes on a Med
Cruise and they had a great time doing it, I don't know what line that was.
My in-laws who have been on several cruises say the Alaska was the best of
all.

Cruises are not for everyone, but if you think of the ship as a hotel that
takes you places, and feeds you really well, then it can be a lot of fun.
