Ok, I'll fess up and say I'm just messing around with y'all. 
The prices of these lenses just seem ridiculous to me. As is the
cult of collectibles. They are still tools. But I'm sure there are
people out there collecting rare hammers for that matter. Not Bronze
Age hammers either, just Craftsman models made in the 1950's.
I just wish all the collectibles would flood the market one day instead
of sitting in vaults. Maybe it could bring the price of Leica products
down far enough that people who have wanted to get into the system could
actually afford to do so.
