Steve,

Be sure you haven't accidentally rolled the wheel to make it under-expose.
 I did that and it took me forever to figure out what was wrong.  Look at
the bottom at the +3 to -3 scale.   The way to adjust it is to push the top,
right-hand wheel in and then turn it.  Good luck!!
