Where do deer go in the winter? Our backyard, of course. A small herd of 5
deer has taken residence in our yard and has been sleeping just outside of
my wife's art studio window. These pictures were taken early this morning
through the slightly dirty window. I couldn't bear the still frigid weather
in my pajamas. Interestingly, unless they can find a well protected space,
deer in the open sleep in a star pattern, butts together and each head
pointed in a different direction.
