I'm pretty sure that Borders and Amazon got divorced a year or so ago.

Hey, I'm all for e-commerce. Amazon vs. Borders?

Amazon: no sales tax
Borders: I pay sales tax

Amazon: killer discount pricing
Borders: nearly always significantly higher than Amazon unless I luck out
with a coupon

Amazon: books usually arrive pristine
Borders: books frequently show shelf wear (and tear)

With "free" (really $75/year flat rate) 2nd day shipping from Amazon,
there's a lot to like about buying from them. Plus, as I mentioned, if I
can't browse physically, I will spend less. Yay budget - more cash for
cameras. ;-)

I think all Borders mail order (or on-line) business for the past few years
was carried out by Amazon....
