We're taking a trip this spring. Wanting to travel as lightly as
possible, we just bought two ZS7's at Costco, for $230 each. I think the
Leica branded version sells for about $400 more.

They had just appeared a week ago this past Thursday; we bought them on
Friday. Then, a couple of days later, I happened to be in the store for
something else, and noticed that the price had been modified to include
a $30 rebate, bringing it down to $200. Moaning about it to the sales
guy, I learned that I could take my receipt to the membership desk and
get $60 back.

It's a nice little thing with built-in GPS. The picture quality is great
except for the limitation of no RAW format. The macro is truly
astonishing. I've looked around the web, and can't find any significant
difference between it and the V-Lux 20.

I just wondered whether somebody out there might be interested in the
opportunity. The rebate will continue - if I recall correctly - for the
remainder of the month.
