Thanks.  Gonna make it happen this year.

That's actually her working light.  The rest of the room, and pretty much 
all of the shop that I saw, is matte black wall.  Didn't have time to ask if 
it was shows off the designs, or makes doing the work easier, or if it's 
just that the subculture (of which I'm not a part) likes it that way.

Worked for me, though; dialed the exposure back a stop or two and shot what 
I saw.  I've gotten to love what my editors consider "difficult" light - so 
easy to do interesting stuff with it. (And one can only do so many EP's of a 
suit in an office before it starts to feel like shooting toaster catalogs.)
